Easyworld Biscuits

Biscuits

To quote Dav, he once told us that after dinner we should eat him. Of course, for most people, this is easier said than done! Not any more! OK, ok, so I can't give you all a little edible Dav, even if I did, could you really bare to eat him? No, here instead is a recipe for Easyworld biscuits. There's two versions here (version 2 is pictured above) and a third is availiable in Shagger's fanzine.
Enjoy!

Ingredients

Method

  • Mix flour and sugar in a bowl and rub in fat until mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
  • Mix to a stiff paste with the beaten egg. For method 1, add blue food colouring now.
  • Roll out thinly and cut into circles (about 2 inches in diameter works best.)
  • Place on greased baking sheets and bake in a moderate oven (325-550 degrees F, gas mark 3-4) for about 15mins.

Ok here's where the methods seperate.

Version 1

  • When the biscuits come out, leave them too cool. As they do, mix up some red icing (use the instructions on the packet.) Don't make much, you're only going to be using a very small amount per biscuit.
  • When the biscuits have cooled significantly, put a small red circle of icing at the edge of each biscuit. A red circle on a blue background, look familiar?

Version 2

  • When the biscuits come out, leave them too cool. As they do, mix up some blue icing (use the instructions on the packet.) You'll need enough to put a layer over the whole of each biscuit.
  • When the biscuits have cooled significantly, cover each one with the blue icing and leave it to set. When it has, use your green writing icing to write the letters "E" and "Z" on each one. There you go, you're own galaxy of "EZ" worlds. Easy!
